EMILY Nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Student Academy Awards
On the heels of Cannes...
OMG. I went to bed last night with the news about Cannes and woke up today with a letter from the Academy! Yes, THE ACADEMY! Emily is one of five films nominated for the Foreign Film Award at the 2012 Student Academy Awards in Los Angeles! I'm told this is the first time an Aussie student film has ever been nominated! My heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the cast, crew, AFTRS staff & students and everyone who contributed their skills, time, thoughts & energy to this film. We literally couldn't have done it without you all!
